• I have a Tvan, which requires the battery to be mounted on its side.Will this void the warranty?

  Enerdrive do not recommend installing their batteries on their side.

  We would recommend giving them a call to discuss if installing it this way would cause any issues with warranty. Enerdrive can be reached on 1300 851 535.

  Hi Rob,

  The manufacturers warranty period for the Enerdrive 125aH lithium batteries is 2 years.

  As of 2020, all Enerdrive products now comes with a 5 Year Warranty. Any products purchased since 1st of January 2020, Enerdrive retrospectively applying the new 5 year warranty period.

• Can I connect the Enerdrive B-tec Lithium Batteries in Parallel or in series?

  Hi there,

  You cannot connect any of the EnerdriveB-TEC batteries in series. You can however connect up to two only of the same size (ah) B-TEC batteries in Parallel. Enerdrive recommend that you only do this if you don't over load the max current of the internal BMS board from ONE OF THE BATTERIES.

  Example. If you connect 2 x 200Ah B-TEC batteries then do not draw more than 200A of DC current from that battery bank, as one (1) single 200Ah B-TEC battery is only capable of handling 200A DC.

  The main aim of connecting two (2) of the Enerdrive B-TEC batteries is not to increase your maximum DC current output, but to double your storage capacity.

  Double the storage equals double the time you can stay powered up and off the grid.

  Be sure to always consult the Enerdrive user manuals for correct cable sizing, fuse sizing and wiring diagrams.

• Is it ok to install a enerdrive lithium battery under the bonnet of the a vehicle?If it is installed under the bonnet of a vehicle what damage could be done to the battery?

  Hi There,

  Enerdrive advise to never install any of their lithium batteries under the bonnet. The amount of heat produced in the engine bay can cause damage to the battery cells and would not be warrantied.

• Would this battery be suitable for use in the Engel Battery box with the inbuilt DCDC charger?

  Hi There,

  This battery will fit in the Engel Battery box.

  The should not be an issue using them both together due to the battery boxes lithium charging capabilities.

• Here in Australia the hot sun can raise the temperature inside a parked motor vehicle to above 60 degrees C. Is this of concern if I have a 60 litre Evacool fridge running using a 125 amp/hr Enerdrive Lithium battery?

  Hi There

  Power usage is dependent on several factors including (but not limited to): ambient temperature, required fridge temperature, temperature of fridge contents, compressor speed (fridge setting) and ventilation.

  At 32C, the average power draw would be approx 2 A/Hr. This would increase considerably at 60C.

  You would still likely get 24 hours usage off a 125ah battery.

• I have a Cub with a Projecta Smart charger. Can I replace my AGM battery with a lithium, and still run the same charger. I also run solar for charging. Will a swap work, or do i need to start again?

  Hi There

  You can repalce your AGM with a lithium battery and keep the charger only if your charger is capable of charging lithium batteries.

  Without a proper charger you will damage your battery.
