I haven't used it yet. What I was very disappointed about was the delivery. I was informed the day and found it to be delivered the day before and left out the front of my property. Easily could have been stolen. Also the condition of the box. I thought the blanket would have been broken.

We’ve had our 300 watt solar panel for around one year and found it really good. We did unfortunately come across an issue and contacted iTechworld who were onto it very quickly. After emailing us the return slip we shipped it back to them where they inspected the panel and confirmed they would be replacing the whole kit with a new one. Solar blanket works great, boosts charge rate when connected to caravan. Would be a little easier to use if the extension cable was long enough to reach from the front of the van to the back where the input is.

Better than all the rest After much searching on the net for panels that will actually do the job of producing enough output for my 135A lithium battery in my caravan, I recently purchased the 300W SOLAR BLANKET KIT WITH RAPTOR SKIN. The first few days we used it was a bit of a disappointment due to the sun refusing to come out behind the clouds but when it did the panels performed well with an average of 14.8 amps. over five days. Much better than the one with the brand name of K...s I have been using. The only drawback is that it is damm hard to set up the panels, due to the folding legs collapsing, much better if there are two of you to set up. All in all, I am pleased with the performance of the 300W Solar Blanket.

We have 2 x 120Ah iTech Lithium and iTech DCDC40 12V charger which has an MPPT solar controller incorporated in its design to accept unregulated solar.
I deliberately drained the batteries a bit at home (down to 166Ah available) in order to test the blanket, but then had to wait ... and wait some more until we had a day when it was NOT raining!
The 300W Raptor skin blanket put 44Ah into the batteries in 3hrs 20 min from 10:10am, so I'm very pleased. This took the batteries to nearly full.

These look great, easy to use, & best of all, they work fantastic. Even on some what cloudy days. Only thing I would add is to be fully waterproof, so as to leave out with peace of mind.

Now this solar panel packs a punch. Plug this into your Andersen plug and face it towards the sun and it pumps the power into your batteries. Works a treat.

Rather surprised when l plugged it in for three first time at 8am on a hazy morning. 16.5 amps straight up. Came down a bit when it warmed up.
Top input was 19.5 at midday with a Ctek mppt charger.
As a qualified solar sparky, super impressed. There so much rubbish around for sale with tempting prices. Get what you pay for I'd say.

Great sturdy design. Easy to use and charges my twin 120ah lithium’s fast, especially with the Itech MPPT controller that I purchased later. One thing I would like changed is to remove the pocket that’s attached to hold the accessories. Not required as it tends to bend the panel slightly and the design has offset the support legs. Used now for a couple of months with excellent off grid charging. Highly recommend.

Blanket is working well but bigger eyelets on stand would be good for thick pegs and screw pegs.

We are currently on a 4 week camping trip to The New England tableland area and adjacent coast. We have 2 Engel Refrigerators onboard with one running as a freezer so there is a fsir load on the system. I am pleased to say the Itech 300w solar panel is performing well so far. The maximum wattage we have seen at this stage is 240 watts with full sun which is far better than the previous solar blanket we were using. Currently experiencing wet weather so seeking alternative means of charging the 2 Itech 120amp hr Lithium batteries we have on board the truck.

I got 2 off them for our camper trailer and couldn't be happier with them. They put out very close to their rated output. And maxed out my 40amp DC-DC charger. I will only use 1 most of the time and use the second on cloudy days or during winter.
They are in the upper price range for this style of panels, however they do not disappoint.

My new favourite purchase for our caravan! We have 390W of solar on our caravan roof to charge our 250A of batteries, which is fine when in full sun, but on cloudy days or setting up in even a semi shady spot, the levels would get lower than ideal.
The 300W blanket gives me the ability to follow the sun during the day and keeps our batteries full no matter what we are drawing.
When I first plugged the blanket in, with the roof solar in full sun, the solar input doubled instantly.
I was so impressed with the 300W Solar blanket that I bought one for my dad for Fathers Day!

Great product and service. Panel worked excellently, adding an additional 8amps in clear sunny conditions to our caravan batteries. After 3 months of daily use we experienced a drop in input. I got in contact with itechworld and explained the issue. They sent me a postage paid barcode to return it. After inspection they confirmed there was a minor fault and have now replaced the panel for us.

After struggling to keep the power up to car while free camping (and we like to do a fair bit of it) or paid camps where there is no power available, we decided to purchase this blanket WOW! We now have all the power we need to keep the fridge cold and the Starlink working, wish we’d done it sooner. We ordered while on holidays and had it shipped to the nearest post office the service from ITech has been wonderful with not only this purchase but every other purchase we’ve made from them.

Gave a 4 star rating only because I haven't been able to try it out as yet. The quality of the blanket looks good, like the adjustable stands on the back of the blanket. But more info on using the blanket would have been better regarding the use of the supplied solar controller. As I have a dc to dc charger in the van which the Anderson lead on the drawbar runs to the dc to dc charger in the van that has its own solar controller then to the batteries I didn't need to connect the supplied solar controller. I did ring your support team in regards to this and was told not to use the supplied controller as the Redarc BCDC has a regular built in the unit.

This panel is amazing! We’ve run other solar blankets in the past but never got the draw like we do from the iTech 300w. It pumps in the power and is surprisingly good in low light conditions. We’ve used it both with the Caravan and with the Ute and it’s been providing the power to stay off grind longer.
